The Alamodome is too big for UTSA, and the venue lacks a college football atmosphere. Even with the recent renovations, the place seems dated. Plus, I think the cannon disaster still hurts the perception of the UTSA game experience.

The sooner UTSA gets a nice expandable 35K on campus stadium, the better off their program will be. That's my opinion anyway.

Lacks a college atmosphere!!? What are you talking about, they have had some of the most exciting bowl games played there with 70k fans. That rivals the NY Day Bowls. I agree about a stadium on campus. I hope that happens soon as well. SA is exploding, population wise and business wise.

Maybe he's talking about when UTSA plays there and not other teams for bowl games. Because honestly who cares what the atmosphere is when other teams play there.

Well UTSA has had the highest attendance for a G5 team ever, we are also the one of the youngest teams in the G5 but average the highest attendance... they’ve averaged the highest attendance over the last 5 years as well. So I just get confused when some teams average 10-16k and have been around for 50 years but they have a college atmosphere

Since we have started football we have finished in the top 3 every year and 1st a few times & 2nd a bunch only missing first by less than 1,000.
