The offensive line in 2017 had less experience than this one and we won 8 games.

No doubt there are question marks, but I think we will be pretty decent by season’s end. Dufour and Ragland are both studs. Galten has a fair amount of experience (has been on the roster since 2017). I believe he will man one of the guard positions. Outside of that, I’m expecting Smith, Fecanin, Wells, Nuss, Trehern, & Vardaman to battle it out for remaining spots. Jones and Woods could compete as well but I’d consider them a step below. I’m guessing Simmons will redshirt due to slow start as a result of his injury.

Johnston’s ability to scramble and connect on the deep ball will help smooth things over as well. Hard to judge the offensive line in the MTSU game due to Erdely and S. Brown injuries.
