north Texas state is following the lead of uh thinking if they just spend a ton of academic money on sports they have a prayer of P5 inclusion in the future
Power Conference school invests in athletics ? Good , good, good....

G5 school invests in athletics? What the...? Where is this money coming from? Why aren't they building a library?

actually P5 programs spending academic money on athletics is bad bad bad and every P5 member should be moving away from that

outside of the SEC SEC SEC the Big 12 is the conference that has the lowest academic subsidies (including student fees or required ticket purchases) and the Big 12 members are all trying to get theirs to zero sooner than later

the PAC 12 has some of the highest subsidies, but the ACC has the teams that on average have the most

the Big 10 does well, but they have a couple of outliers that should be ashamed that they have any at all much less as high as they are

really the SEC SEC SEC has a couple that should be ashamed as well, but that is just acceptable in most of their states so it is what it is

at some point the amounts that many G5s are spending will become an issue for them and it will probably happen relatively quickly when it starts to happen and it might even be set off by people looking at the P5 programs in their states first and asking why some of those have any academic money being spent

So far the only 2 schools to move their FB down are UConn and Idaho over cost.

I think you might benefit from having a fact-checker review your posts before you submit.
