You're absolutely right, this is a troll thread from a dude who roots for Georgetown and another blathering poster who roots for UTEP. You know, both the powers of basketball relevancy over the past several decades. To suggest that a basketball only conference is a place for Cincinnati to park its program after our university, alumni and fans desire to also play and succeed at the highest level in football is just asinine. It can only either be a poor attempt at trolling or someone who has no clue about the reality of college sports driven by football. It would seem the "panties in the wad" are reserved to those few who are obsessed about making the American Conference less and below the Big East. Whatever. No need to participate in this garbage.

Yea, it's an absurd concept. UC doesn't want the Big East and the Big East isn't gonna invite them while we're in the league anyway. Unrealistic in every way
