Poll: MEGA POLL: What should the AAC do?
Do nothing permanently. Figure out an unbalanced schedule that will still allow a football CCG.
Do nothing temporarily. Wait a year or two to see any other developments.
Create a mega-conference with the MWC including all existing members for football-only.
Join with top schools in other G5 programs to form a new all-sports conference - shedding additional dead weight.
UAB all sports.
USM all sports.
BYU all sports.
FIU all sports.
Georgia State all sports.
Army football-only; ? other sports. Write in your choice.
Boise football only; ? other sports. Write in your choice.
Air force football only; ? other sports. Write in your choice.
UNLV football only; ? other sports. Write in your choice.

I've GOT IT... BYU, Boise, Air Force.
That get's us to 14 teams
West division
BYU
Boise
Air Force
SMU
Houston
Tulsa
Memphis

That only leaves 2 East division teams they have to travel to... more than likely, just one per year (H/A).

That puts 2 of their division mates (Boise and AF) WAAAY closer than any of their WAC mates are right now, so they might actually save some travel money, or it could at least work out to be a wash for joining as all sports members. I did check. Salt Lake city to Dallas, Houston, and Tulsa isn't pretty. It was in the 1150 miles range on average, but their closest WAC teams seem to be about 800 already. I guess what I'm saying is, I don't think their volleyball team is taking a bus to ANY of their conference games as it is now, anyway.

This would put us in 3 times zones, not 4.

Also, at that point, the MWC is pretty much dead. We would be pretty much the Peach/Tostitos rep every year.
