I'd suggest you study the rosters of the current new big east teams, and what you'll find is for the most part kids from similar mixes as what Uconn currently has. I think there last big name kid when they were still decent was Daniel Hamilton whom i believe was from California. In addition a lot of kids from south of Nyc. To suggest that your program's decline is because of the loss of "east coast kids" is laughable. In fact, the east coast has not exactly been a hotbed of talent in either football or bball lately. Between Uconn's awful football team, Rutgers and BC's continued mediocrity, there's not a lot of kids coming out of there right now in fball either. Truth is they've missed on kids in bball in spite of their "brand". Nyc isn't the center of the bball recruiting universe right now.

the big east certainly took quite a hit after, you know. but they're still pulling in better talent than our league. i'll defer to you on the roster makeup. just seemed to make sense to me. point stands though. it's pretty big news (for us) if a top 100 signs in our league
