He still scored less than 1 ppp when posting up. I remember the slime ball Coach K saying 40% on 3s equals 60% on 2s.

Players have to be able to move around, play in transition, guard pick n rolls, spread the floor.

It's a team game, not an individual game. The only relevant stat is what the team's PPP was when Hassell posted up. Who got the offside rebound / follow from his misses when he took the other team's big man to the other side of the basket? Frank often drew a double team in the low post. Offensive rebounding was a big part of Blaine's offense, just as it is with Jeff's.

People can open the link below and see for themselves the effect of having a player like Frank in the post had on the ODU offense, especially when looking at the advanced stats located lower down on the page -

As is how many time Frank put back his own miss. A 50% conversion rate is in a sense 2 points for that possession.

That's a fact, and I thought about how many times we have all seen him rebound his own missed shot and put it back in. Another thing Giles' PPP stat doesn't show is how many times Frank got the entry pass in the post, drew a double team, and passed it back outside for an open shot by someone else. Some people just don't understand how post offense works, and think that all it involves is pick and roll. A good post game stretches the floor in the half court and makes things easier for the outside shooters.

EDIT: Take a look at the advanced stats for Frank's senior season and you will get a much better picture of the impact he had on ODU's overall offense than just looking at a single stat (PPP).
