Let's hope so ODUBB35. For all of the accolades being thrown around already about players on the team, the center position was very weak last season. Unless Jeff expects Shanu to be the second coming of Freshman Mark West or Alex Laughton, or for Karaiskos to suddenly become a 20 minute per game performer, then the position remains the team's biggest need.

I know for a fact that Jeff believes that Shanu potentially has a high ceiling, but he doesn't want to place too high expectations upon him at this early stage of his career. I also know that he doesn't know what at all to expect to get from Karaiskos this season.

Yea, hard to think Shanu will be good enough to give us much as a freshman. Quite a jump going from unpolished HS big to playing in this league. Need another big alongside him that will help him develop.

On Green, he's a great piece and has shown he can get us over the top, but we have to find an Alpha that will get us to the top. Not sure who that is but we'll have a lot of pieces. Somebody's gotta emerge as that Alpha though.

Shanu shouldn't need to do much. Compete with Kariaskos for 10-15 minutes per game, if that.

Lol. Yeah, I'm sure that's why Jeff is seeking an experienced Center.
