I heard Jeff on his tape state he still had one more scholarship and was looking for an experienced transfer while listening just now and immediately smiled. It fits exactly with what I was told several weeks ago that he was looking for an experienced perimeter scorer (got two in Long & Strother), and an experienced Center (???). Hopefully that is where the last scholarship goes. If so, and Jeff gets someone that can truly help inside, then I will be pretty optimistic about the team this season and give preseason kudos to Jeff ... especially if Long is eligible to play immediately via an NCAA rule change.
