While 6'10 is big, couldn't we find a freshman center over 7 feet who has some muscle, can play in the paint, can distribute, can run the floor and hit a three?

For all of the fun we are having with this, the important thing is that they have at least partially addressed a significant need the team had. My understanding is that they are still seeking a center that has some college experience - and presumably one that can play this season.

It is also worth noting that this 6'-10" freshman is listed as a forward so apparently he can play that position as well as the post.

They also listed Dickens (and Porter, Stith) as a forward. We just aren't dumb enough to play him at a forward spot.

Remember - "positionless basketball".

Stith and Porter were at times in the lineup together, so unless they were both playing center at the same time, one of them had a different agenda out there.
