Looks like, excluding seniors, there would be 4 forwards on the team that get more playing time than he does just from the existing roster. And URI just got 2 forwards to transfer from Maryland (the Mitchell brothers) so I think this is a playing time issue, is my guess.

This guy is a small forward. I don't follow Maryland much, but the Mitchell brothers are listed as 6'10" so I would assume they would play power forward and/or center. Not sure they would threaten his playing time, but I may be wrong. Just a question.

I agree with this. In a press release the coach said that he brings good athleticism to the wing position. All these recent guys they’ve signed are post players. Maybe he wants to play closer to home. He played in every game and started one game.
