Not if they have to sit a year. They could have enrolled already and not have committed. I suspect Marrow from HU is in this discussion somewhere. He just entered the transfer protocol. He would have 2 years of eligibility left. He is a solid PG.

I guess when I read "for this season", I took that to mean the player would be able to take the court as a Monarch this season,in November. Otherwise, it would be a commitment for next season, though I guess the person could be a practice player while he sits for a season.

Or they could still be a commit for this year that had enrolled just to be safe and the announcement if forthcoming.
