According to SB Nation piece, they said there is no deal to announce at this time ... the AD expressed satisfaction with the deal over the regular season but indicated that they are still negotiating over bowls. It sounded to the author of the piece that BYU may be aiming for a tiered arrangement which promises a certain level of bowl for a certain level of performance by BYU, but I didn't hear the interview, so that is second hand relaying of an "impression" picked up from the discussion.

The AD did previously recorded videos. Basically said they were done with TV negotiations (it will be a 4-6 year type deal) but were still working on bowls. ESPN will be the provider. Right now it appears the PAC is holding up the last of the bowl logistics, the AD said that part (bowls) was a little more difficult because of moving parts.
It’s not the PAC12 holding it up, it’s BYU trying to get a better bowl tie-in. However, all of ESPN’s bowls are lower tier, so BYU better take what they can get with ESPN owned bowls because they aren’t getting anything other than a lower tier bowl. All the mid to upper bowls are specifically tie to P5 conferences.
