Go to Reply 48. Anyone at Liberty hearing anything about this?

If Liberty is coming aboard does that also mean a team being added in the West?

If this is the case I could see this as 2 leagues operating as 1. In football, perhaps there's 2 eight team divisions with no crossover games?

I have a hard time believing this is true. The poster makes it sound like Liberty is calling some shots. What leverage does LU have to "have a big say so"? I don't see an upside to being in such a large conference with only one NCAA tournament bid plus it relegates our football to a G5. As an independent, we at least can pull a BYU and be quasi-P5.
