In the case of the Convo the arch seperates the Natural wood look and the “dark” wood area with Huskie eyes.

I for one am with you. Hate the floor. Too dark and weird.

Agree. For first-time Convo visitors, first impression is terrific artwork. Unique. Individualistic. Wow.

But then that wears off, and it just looks foreboding and weird. It becomes the answer to "why is it always so dark in here?" The change is a good excuse to redo the floor, tho I'm concerned about the cost of putting in the new lines and adjusting the artwork.

Also, do you ever get the feeling those eyes are following you around? Like it's really p'o'd at you? Like it might jump up and bite you in the adz if you get up to hit the can or get some nachos? Like it could be the theme for an old CBS Radio Mystery Theater episode? Like somebody might be buried under there?

Every time I see it, for some reason I start thinking about how great a big juicy steak would taste right about now.
