You're just going to keep banging this drum..that UC is a mid-major...that the only coach that warranted appointment as MBB HC was Cronin.

What are you hoping? That Cronin comes back? He left voluntarily, unlike Huggins. You could therefore consider him a traitor to the program. You want to cleave to a traitor? Have at it. You won't get a lot of sympathy around here.

I'm not certain what your agenda is exactly...to show that transitions are difficult? I think everyone here already knows that. To make us beg to have Cronin back? What exactly would that accomplish other than an ego massage?

I think you are simply a misanthrope with nothing better to do than constantly troll this board. If you are a relative of Cronin, all you are accomplishing is establishing that the Cronin family is bitter that he wasn't offered a raise despite mediocre performance. It doesn't make you look good. You should put your energy into supporting Cronin in his new gig--go follow UCLA since you believe he'll be such a sterling success in the PAC 12. Let Cronin's performance there be the measure of who was correct in this instance instead of belittling a fanbase that, by and large, wanted to try something different.

A constant, steady stream of "I told you so" isn't going to change anything and it won't win any converts. The deal is done, Mick is gone--time to look to the future.

If you want to point to a villain in any of this you might want to look at the distribution of funds in the AD. The people who determine that are at the top of the command structure. They don't post on this board.

Go cry to them.

I'm not sure I follow your scattered logic. The point is that less then a year ago a number of fans (including yourself) were extremely negative towards Cronin and by extension the whole UC basketball program. I'm not going to find the old quotes, but I recall people saying (among other things) that nobody on the team besides JC belonged at program of UC's level.

No--just Cronin--hoping he would leave and let the program breathe again.

We're happy Cronin is gone. The jury is still out on Brannen, but you have jumped down his Chili before he's even been here a month. We had OVER A DECADE to judge Cronin.

Cronin had been recruiting for over a decade...Brannen has been here less than a month and only established a full coaching staff this week. The hypocrisy is on your end bringing the same level of criticism against someone who has been here for a small fraction of the time Cronin had been here and using the same criteria for criticism--it's YOU who are the hypocrite...as well as a member of a steadily shrinking fan club.
