I signed up for the ESPN app last week and so far have kept it. Actually used it to watch the end of an MLB game a few nights ago. Wonder if my $5 payment automatically renews?

A couple years ago I finally starting using the smart TV for web games, but one thing that is a pain is you can't easily switch back and forth to cable programming - aka other football games.

The $12 Flo thing still leaves a bad taste, but I see no way around not doing it for JMU football coverage.

BTW - is there a CAA football weekly discussion show? That might be interesting....

Now for basketball - I'm not sure. I watched at most a combined 2 games for JMU Men's basketball last year. I actually watched quite a bit more of Women's basketball.

The men's team would likely need to improve quite a bit for me to regain material interest. I'm not sure top 3 or 4 would do it "for me". We were probably 2 or 3 wins from top 3 or 4 last year. Will I pay for Flo for women's basketball? Might depend on OOC success.

Hope like hell the week's game is not a buffering fest.
