Considering he should have been fired 3 years earlier when the entire team walked out during practice for the Motor City Bowl I'd disagree. The assistant that then managed to get the players to come back was fired immediately after the game. I had parents of current players, a dozen or more former players, and even 1 grad assistant contact me with support for firerickminter.com. 55 assistants in 10 years tells it all.

And Minter did alright... at one point he was getting paid by 3 schools.
