Comparing Bloom to Bailiff is about as useful as comparing Bailiff to Toad or to Neely.

So, a three game improvement to 5 wins, against this schedule, would be a pretty good year. A very good year.

But only if he gets above .500 in 2020. Preferably well above. Otherwise, the gains in 2019 were wasted, a bailiff trait.

And then improves more in 2021. Otherwise, the gains in 2020 were wasted.

And wins his bowls.

The trajectory has to be up, up, up. Every year better than the last, until we are averaging 10+ wins/year.

And that is the four season arc I said would be good. If we get that arc, I will have long forgotten 2018.

A record like that might get him hired away. We all agree, having our coaches hired away after four years is a good thing. Having our coach still rebuilding in season four, not so good.

Just win. I don't care if we have 10 false starts a game, if we win. I don't care if the team looks flat, if they win. I don't care if we miss 60% of our FGs, if we win. Just win. Find a way. I would rather win ugly than lose pretty.
