If we are talking long shots, Chris Beard isn’t the right guy from Texas. A dark horse candidate would be Shaka Smart. He has disappointed the UT admin and alums, and could be on the way out. But he is a very good coach and would work great at a place like UC.

It’s a long shot, but it’s not crazy...
