No wonder you all slobber over Trump. It would be nice to converse with someone whose IQ was in triple digits for a change.
This is precisely the sort of smug, arrogant condescension that made Donald Trump president. Keep it up, and you're going to re-elect him.
I'm guessing you may not see it as smug, arrogant condescension. I don't know what to say about that.
And I feel completely the opposite. The tweets by Trump, and the standard responses by Shere Khan, Kaplony, JMU, dfarr, etc., to me when I point out some of the insanity, are exactly why Trump will go down in a landslide defeat (at least landslide by incumbent standards). And I'm guessing you don't see that, and I don't know what to tell you to see that either anymore. I'd rather be smug than infantile. Neither of them is a good look, really.
One of us will be right in a year and a half. There's no point in arguing any more about it.
Trump may be insane, but e's not as insane as the democrat alternatives that have made themselves available so far. I'm not a fan of Trump and did not vote for him. With me, it's far more a case of, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." The standard milquetoast wusses that ave led the republican party in recent years--Boehner, McConnell, Ryan (though I'll give Ryan a bit of a pass since he didn't want the job) have done a damn poor job of protecting me from those enemies. Trump is not my cup of tea, but at least he hasn't cowered like they did. Trump may well go down to that record defeat you predict. If he does, I truly fear what will come next. It hope it's not time to stick a fork in us as a country, but I'm certainly not optimistic.
Obama couldn't destroy us because he didn't know how to work with people to get things done. I would hope any democrat that might win in 2020 proves to be similarly inept.
