On only 55 possessions he averaged almost 1pt and he gave up the same 1pt on less than 30 possessions defensively. I watched all 85 possessions on SYNERGY. He is very weak, especially in the lower body (not a good attribute for a big). He is, however, 6'10" but weighs 214. I think I weigh 214 but unfortunately I'm 6'2". I think he would be a good project and fill the gap for 10-15 mins a game but he plays a little 'chickenhearted' IMO. There is always a reason why a 6'10" Sophomore transfers from a team like BC. Better do your homework and not be desperate if you are UNCW.

Kind of goes back to the quality a big man that's available now. Either you go for what's available or work with what you already have. It seems that the latter is what UNCW is doing.

I take it 6'8" John Bowen will have to sit, coming from a D2. I also believe he will have to go with redshirting to keep from losing a year.
