One more reliable 5 man will be the difference this year between pre-season ranking of 5 and bottom 4 IMO.

I agree that another reliable 5 man would be huge for us, but I think we should be keeping in mind that amount of turnover in the CAA this year. A lot of the would be contenders have lost a bit of talent or had complete overhauls (a la William & Mary). We may yet still have a legit chance in this next year with the roster as is. I would very much agree though, that another reliable 5 would be great.

IMO what you point out here is even more a reason to pounce now!

This begs the question... what leads you to believe they're not actively working to recruit the best talent available?
