That game will "tell" a lot about if and how much fans will respond to the kickoff (pun not intended) of the THammock Era and the impacts of all the expanded social media, constant official website updates, publicity, giveaways and promotions, etc. All that, in turn, will begin to tell something about the intrinsic value of any investment in improving Huskie Stadium.

The dawn of a new era (waxing poetic here) is a rare opportunity to "wave the flag."
