As for recruiting, ISU sells a better education than NIU offers, a better campus and a better town.. and you keep talking about NIU recruiting 60 spots better, but in the Sagarin rankings they have been much closer, a few years ISU being ranked higher than NIU.

Did not claim NIU is big time. Claimed NIUs football program is a level above and better than ISUs. And that ISU is and always will be small time while they are FCS. You know this but keep changing the talking points to help boost the ISU image. You could actually be ranked higher in Sagarin and you still won’t be in the “power index” or just about any other poll because they don’t even look at FCS teams. No one in football cares about FCS schools. It’s why your 247 recruiting classes are around 160th and NIUs is in the 90s. The better rated athletes don’t want to go to FCS schools. Sagarin is apples to oranges because it uses strength of schedule. I can’t find ISUs SOS anywhere but Sagarin(ISU was 6-5 w/ SOS of 136 to NIUs 8-6 w/ SOS of 71) ISU isn’t even in the College football index.
