I've heard some local baseball people say kent's recruiting has tailed off the last few years. I hope that's not the case and its more we graduated effectively our entire weekend rotation and for once we're truly young.

KSU's top 2 starting pitchers are out for the year with arm injuries. The weekend rotation would look completely different if Ryan Kircher and Collin Romel were healthy. Romel was All-American as a freshman and Kircher was projected to do the same this year. (Schrieber was a lefty reliever for 3 previous seasons and Wollersheim has been a mid-week starter for 3 seasons)

There have been a lot of position player injuries thus far this year as well.

KSU has been fortunate to have avoided the injury bug in recent memory but not this season, double that with Ball State and Miami both loaded with upper classmen and you have what has transpired thus far.

We will see where it all ends up, as anything can happen in the MAC Tournament.
