Of course, seems like most of those pushing for it ALL come from those same large expensive cities.
This is why I’m way more okay with localities mandating the higher minimums if that’s what they choose. Additionally, if it succeeds or fails......it’s on that locality.
Once the minimum gets raised, if it fails, it would be like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube to lower it back down........until it becomes like another Detroit, but by them it’s too late and the big proponents will have moved away.
but we're talking about a federal mandate that would cripple and inflate USD in the center....
if the urban centers want to inflate dollars.....go for it...
watch how that works out....
if one thinks crime is bad now......have fun with that....
That’s why I think it’s lunacy to mandate it at the federal level. Locally, have at it.
$15 an hour in San Fran is a whole lot more justified than Macon Georgia........typical government implementation - pound those square pegs into round holes........
which is why it has no business getting into others business....
let the states decide, eh?
piss on both ways....the coastal fringe can lick my lily white one....
Yep.....states....and if that states wants to allow cities to have a higher minimum, so be it.
