RE: William Byron-NASCAR-Liberty U.
MARTINSVILLE
Byron was never really competitive today unfortunately. He started 25th and ever so slowly made his way to the Top 10. He was very mediocre all day. As a result, he was eliminated from the NASCAR Championship Final Four.

On a side note….. the greatest driver move in the history of NASCAR was accomplished by Ross Chastain, driver of the #1 car. He was racing outside of the Top 4 Championship contenders going into the final turn of the race, needing to pass several cars. Martinsville is a short track and so drivers must slow down and break hard to make the turns. Chastain moved his car out to the wall and fully accelerated using the wall to turn and slingshot his car last competitiors. It moved him where he needed to be and put him in the Championship. It looked like a video game move or a scene from the movie Cars. I will try and post the video.

The top four drivers will compete next week in the final race of the season in Phoenix for the Championship.

2. Christopher Bell
