We need to raise another million just to start a practice facility.
We need to raise an additional three milllion to finish paying for it.
We need to raise money to buy out contracts
We need to raise money to pay a better salary for A new coach and staff
We need to raise money for recruiting. Right now we don’t have a pot to piss in to recruit
We need to raise money and convince our AD to allow us to schedule teams out of our region for those constantly complaining about the schedule.
We need to raise money for marketing

We also need to stfu and show up to games because winning 26 games could not fill Bartow. We get a change we need to all show up and bring people.

Get ready to open your wallets. We want change we gotta pay for it like we did in football.

The board / AD / Watts is not going to allow any more funds to be spent towards basketball unless we raise them.

This. All of the "Not one more dime of my money" stuff is great on a message board to express dissatisfaction, but in the real world all it does is cut your own program's throat.

Recruiting is a program's life blood. Look what has happened with football since we got the new building built. Ehsan would look better if he could have landed better players and some quality depth. Our facilities are dated and suffer by comparison to other programs. If you want those to get better (and our players to get better) we need a basketball specific fundraising drive. Yeah, we keep being asked to pony up money, but the bottom line is that getting better is driven by the support of the fans and boosters far more than by the b*tching of fans and boosters.

I think that this home stand greatly increased the chance that Ehsan gets the hook. That said, the money to pay his buyout and for the contract of the next coach has to come from somewhere, and Watts has his foot on the UAB side of the budget still. You want to talk about hiring Andy Kennedy, you need to also be talking about making donations or it can't happen.
