Because the schools that I am aware of all have someone in that role.

The bigger piece, obviously, would be getting rid of so many layers of administration But D-I-E is part of that, and cuts there would have to be part of any admin cuts.

So it is a hunch - you aren't presenting concrete evidence that DEI initiatives are either widespread in K-12 or causing such an appreciable cost that, per your own words "if you cut out administration and woke social engineering then you'd free up a lot more money to augment."

If you're instead saying that there are some DEI initiatives in some K-12 schools and that they have a cost, but not one that might free up a lot of money is cut, then I would have less of a bone to pick here. But you seem to arguing different sides of the coin - DEI initiatives in K-12 are prevalent enough that cutting them could represent "a lot more money" and that they might not be that prevalent or cost that much, but a penny saved is a penny earned.

I'd appreciate it if you recognized that I did not put words in your mouth - I responded to what you posted, which includes presumptions.
