The media is zeroing in on Thomas for obvious political reasons. His conduct is not exceptional. Equal effort by Propublica on the other eight would find plenty to report on, including actual conflicts of interest like the one you posted, as opposed to "potential" ones.

I'm sure you are correct. I said this way earlier in this thread. I don't think this is a partisan thing where the conservatives are dirty and the liberals aren't. I support clear disclosure rules (and clear rules for what gifts they can accept) for all Supreme Court justices.

There is a reason that all 9 Justices were against reform from the outside. I bet there are conflicts of interest that abound - from both companies and individuals supporting their lifestyles in ways that make the job a bit more enjoyable.
