He has numerous concurrences -- which is exactly what you describe. And to be honest, his rationale in his writings have been internally self-consistent for his tenure on SCOTUS.

Yeah... again I have not accused Thomas of being influenced. I said that not reporting these gifts while not illegal gives off a swamp stench. I never said that Thomas has done anything wrong. I maintain that his behavior in this regard does not meet the ideals when it comes to what I would hope for in a Justice of the Supreme Court.
