I dont have the sheer antipathy kneejerk reaction towards a benediction prayer that you seemingly do and express. I have seen that type of benediction on more than a few occasions.

OK, is this type of Christian benediction prayer normal prior to a case? Were I a Muslim-American I would not be super stoked had I a case in front of this judge.

The important thing is whether her reputation is one of being impartial. Not as to whether she has a benediction.
