Hell, an atom is the building block of a cell - so should atom’s be considered life? Or what about sperm and eggs - those are building blocks of life, so should they be considered life?

There is not clear answer here, so I’d appreciate it if you actually gave some respect to opinions that may differ from yours. I disagree with OO, but I’m not deriding his opinion.

I personally find it difficult to say that human life begins when there aren’t any organs present. When there are nothing more than the building blocks of an organism present.

A egg or a sperm by itself will not proceed to develop a person. Only when they unite does the process start. But then the fertilized egg starts dividing, and things, including organs start developing.

A fertilized egg by itself will not proceed to develop a person. There must be the intervention of another human being in order for that process to take place.
