Are there actually those on the left that believe Justice Thomas could find a basis to question interracial marriages? Have they met his wife?

Theoretically that should have no bearing on a strict textualist. If he believes the Constitution does not grant that right, and that it should be legislated by the States, then absolutely he would overturn it.

Why do you think a textualist would let their personal experiences impact their reasoning?
