I reaffirm this belief

They make great travel partners with ArkSt and Texas St. Without the BBonly schools the travel schedule would be more difficult. Texas State just had over 6k at their home game against UTA.

The only real difference in travel is that Texas St/Ark St would become a traveling pair.

If you found a nearby ambitious FCS call up couldn't they serve a similar purpose? That way you'd be splitting money with some teams that actually contributed to the football inventory rather than having UTA/UALR collect G5 money for their non-existent football programs.

Have you looked at a map of SBC schools? Texas State and Ark State are 10 hours apart, there’s no way in hell that they would be travel partners. In this scenario you would have to split the Louisiana schools apart (3 hour drive between the two). ULM would pair with Ark State (5 hour drive) and ULL would go with Texas State (6 hour drive, straight shot down I-10).
