When those 2 schools merged to form VCU they came up with a new name.
Should ODU and EVMS merge, I wonder if a name change would also be considered? Doubtful given the existing value of the ODU brand.

That being said I shared a post a few years ago about names proposed for ODU. I wish I had taken a picture of the list back then.
