AAF has the perfect city mix excluding Atlanta and Phoenix. Replace those with St. Louis and Hartford or Columbus and you have a very nice league.

If you are only drawing 17K in Birmingham (announced in June) and 20K in Orlando (announced in April), you have a problem in terms of selling your product. Then again, teams did not get locally based team execs hired until September with sales and support staffs weeks later. Memphis will be interesting this weekend as they were announced in May and had Team President the day they were announced.

Look at the Ticketmaster map for Saturday. They have more than half the stadium blocked off. There’s no way those tickets have been sold, as at least one person would be trying to re-sale them for such a hot event.
