I STRONGLY support the kids performance on stage. It was fierce. If someone is giving drugs to an 11 year old, they belong in jail. I did see a bunch of stories by frankly homophobic sites where the reported that Desmond DID NOT do drugs, but claim that someone around him did so. If true, that's disturbing, but it doesn't speak AT ALL to the appropriateness of Desmond and other drag youth from not conforming to existing gender norms and celebrating who they are.
