Yes, if merely being located in a geographical market were the ticket, then a conference like the AAC would be making $50m a year in media, because they are located in Philadelphia, Houston, Dallas, Cincinnati, Tampa, Orlando, New Orleans, etc.

In contrast, the SEC is located in much smaller places like Baton Rouge, Oxford, College Station, Tuscaloosa, Athens, Gainesville, etc. so it should be making peanuts.

But just because you are located in a big population center doesn't mean anyone is watching.
