Do they really think that UCF kids went there thinking playoffs were a possibility? Lets be honest 75% of the playoff participants have been Bama, Clemson, OU, and OSU so unless you're going to one of those schools you've got a very slim chance anyway. Are Northwestern and Indiana really selling kids that they could go to the playoffs?

That radio talk show was regurgitating the Cartel 5 narrative. RealDeal is spot on. 80+% of the Cartel 5 have not shot at the playoff. UCF will continue to recruit well as long as they win. They will claim the NC if they win out and issue rings to the players.

Yep-- Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma and OSU account for 14/20 playoff spots. The one offs are Georgia, Notre Dame, Oregon, FSU, Michigan State and Washington.

If any one or more of Bama, Clemson, Oklahoma and OSU (throw in Texas, Notre Dame, Michigan and maybe USC) have two losses or less everyone else might as well forget about their chances of getting in.
