JL? Really? He has been a HC for exactly two high school games and has a record of 1-1. I loved watching him play just as much as everyone else, but, he is NOT yet qualified to be the HC of the Huskies.

If the right guy is a former NIU player, that’s terrific, but, it should be far down the list of required qualifications.

You don't understand the fascination with former players? Geez, let me explain it to you. The fans really liked them as players and would love to get more of them when then move on from playing. PJ could have been the legend here had he stuck with us and the buzz (for as long as he was here) would have been like you'd never seen in DeKalb because not only was he a great player he came back as a coach. If you don't understand the infatuation with a former player, you've never been a fan.

Being a great, well- liked player has ZERO to do with being a quailified HC.

No need to argue with him. Every football season, its constant bickering and one-upmanship from him.
