Of course, at the end of the year, we usually only look at the w-l record, not how it could easily be different. Remember in our undefeated year, how close the WV and Pitt games were? Final records both are and aren't everything.

If W-L records aren't everything, then what is? No matter whether we squeak by or blow out an opponent, a win is a win. And if we lose by whatever margin, we lose. I don't think anyone awards style points or woulda-coulda-shoulda consolation prizes in college football. My only regret about our 12-0 season is that it wasn't 13-0.
