If UC wins out, I would think wee would get the NY6 bowl,

Not so sure if anyone else wins the AAC championship.

Besides winning out, we may still need a Temple loss and by far the best chance of that happening is tonight against Houston (their other games are USF and @UConn). So that's a huge game for us and them tonight. If they win out and we win out and UCF wins out (aside from against UC) we are all 1 loss teams with 1-1 records against each other.

Update: Well, maybe not, but it's pretty lengthy. Here's the tie-breakers per wikipedia:

Quote:Team selection
Division standings are based on each team's overall conference record. In the event that two teams are tied, head-to head competition would break the tie. If the two teams did not play, division record will be used to determine the divisional champion. If three or more teams are tied, the following tiebreakers are used to determine the divisional champion:[1]

The following procedures will only be used to eliminate all but two teams, at which point the two-team tie-breaking procedure (head-to-head result) will be applied.
1. Head-to-head (best record in games among the tied teams).
2. Record in games played within the division.
3. Record against the next highest placed team in the division (based on record in all Conference games, both divisional and non-divisional).
4. Record against the next highest placed team in the division (based on record in divisional games).
5. Record against common non-divisional opponents.
6. Best overall winning percentage in all games.
7. Highest CFP ranking following the last weekend of regular-season games.
8. Coin toss.

So I've only spent a few seconds on this but if I"m reading this right and the original scenario above happens, we may have to go to #6 to eliminate Temple since it will have the worst overall winning percentage (having lost several nonconference games). Then it starts over and will go to UC over UCF by having beaten them head to head (in that scenario).

It won't feel 100% great taking it over a Temple team that beat us, but I'll take it everyday of the week!
