I was talking to my coworker (a Miami grad) who was telling me Chuck Martin lit into the Miami fans and the MAC last night on his post-game show. Said the Miami fans were heckling him and the players on the sidelines and called the MAC cheap for not buying a trophy for the rivalry game against Ohio U.

Watched most of that game last night (it was much more entertaining than the basketball game). Ohio was just off all night. Got down 28-7 at halftime. Came back in the second half and got a punt block returned for TD to get it to a one score game. But the QB took a safety late which was Miami's only score in the second half. Ohio got it to around the 40 yard line and had a hail mary into the end zone that went incomplete as time expired.

I was hoping Ohio would win, but now hopeful that win was enough for Miami to keep Martin around a little while longer.

I agree; maybe that win alone secured a multi-year contract extension for Martin! More good news for the Bearcats.
