Okay first off. We lost by one touchdown to a 10-4 MWC runner up in Fresno State. 3 of their 4 losses were to ranked teams on the road. They were a legitimately solid football team. At a minimum they could have matched up with any C-USA team so I don't get the hate there.

Secondly, USM got stomped by FSU 42-13. And don't act like that was a world beater FSU team last year. They went 6-6 in the regular season and lost to BC, 35-3. That's about as mediocre as it gets for a program like FSU.

That said, I was also surprised to see that the SI rankings had UH in the mix. Personally after last season I'm just hoping for a nice 9-10 win season and some competent offensive play calling, a top 25 ranking would be gravy.

Sad day for Houston to imply it is okay to lose to MWC runner up, Fresno State.

And USM didn't get stomped by FSU... we got prison raped.

Ehh given how the year went it really wasnt the end of the world. We were a little dysfunctional last year, hopefully Applewhite gets it together this year and has us back on top this year.
