The 86 points were the second-most KSU has scored this season against a Division I school. (They scored 87 against Northern Illinois and 92 against Division II Clarion.) The 26-point margin was the second-highest against Division I. (They beat Youngstown State -- which is now 22-9 -- by 28 and Clarion by 54.)

Bowling Green finished last in the MAC but beat Kent State 62-49 nine days ago at BG.

Barber-Smith's 20 rebounds tied for seventh most in Kent State history. Last time a player had more was 1992. Barber-Smith's 10 points gave her the first double-double of her career in her last game at the M.A.C.C. she has averaged 12.8 rebounds over the last six games.

Dingle's 25 were the second highest of her freshman year. (She had 29 against Eastern Michigan.) Three other Flashes scored in double figures, the first time KSU had put five players at 10 or better since 2010. Ali Poole had 14, Megan Carter 12 and Lindsey Thall 11. Barber-Smith and Thall each blocked six shots. Dingle matched a career high with six assists and had four steals.

Kent State's record is 19-11 and equals the number of wins of two years ago, when they won the MAC East.

Stat of the year is assists....plain and simple. When they move the ball to find open shooters we have much better success. The game is easy when you find the open shooters.
