For those suggesting we use the baseball or softball fields. Do you think their coaches will allow the band to paint field lines on them? That's going to be a no go.

As far as a parking lot, do we have a 80 foot x 50 foot area that can be guaranteed to have no cars at 3-5 30pm. It works in high school because all of the other students leave at 3.

There were issues at times during the soccer season where we couldn't use the band practice facility during the nights of their games. We can't use the quad because it near so many classrooms. The professors complained constantly about drum camp during my tenure (it is during the summer finals) . I can't imagine they'd like us doing that during the entire semester.

This is going to be fun for them.
