So in the basketball coaching search, Karlgaard didn't interview enough people. In the baseball search, he's interviewing too many. What is it going to take to make everyone happy? I see nothing wrong with casting a wide net. What's better, interviewing 10 people and picking the best of 10 or interviewing 100 and picking the best of 100? Chances are you'll get a better candidate out of the pool of 100.
