Maybe you can share with us a worse student seating configuration as a glass half full perspective. Out of 355 NCAA teams there has to be one that is worse. I would like to see some examples so we can at least feel better that JMU isn’t tied for having the worst student seating configuration which minimizes home court advantage.

It is a legit concern. The layout is not fine.

Just start over the mountain in Charlottesville......nothing is special about student seating there......pretty much on one end behind the backboard very similar to what JMU will have.

Student seating at ODU at the Constant Center is almost identical.

These were literally the first 3 I looked at and local to the state. I think if rather than moaning and groaning you actually looked pragmatically you would see this is a rather common seating arrangement. Or you can complain.
